Breaking- Jose Mourinho has fallen out with key defender 1

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho relationship is in a ‘complete breakdown’ with young defender Matteo Darmian, according to reports in Italy.

The Red Devils’ fullback is not in the plans of newly appointed Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho as he is yet to feature for the club this season and have not been the first choice right-back at Old Trafford.

The 26-year old who has moved from Italian outfit Torino to Old Trafford last summer has had a decent season with the Red Devils under Louis van Gaal. However, Mourinho has opted for veteran Antonio Valencia as his preferred right back so far in the season.

Tuttosport claims that the pair has completely fallen out with doubts cast over Darmian’s future at the club. The Italian international was expected to move away from United with a host of Italian clubs interested in him but the move never materialized as he settled for life under Mourinho post transfer window.

However, Serie A champions Juventus are keen on signing the right back as they look to bolster their defense as a January move is already mooted by the Italians. The Red Devils are ready to offload him but are keen to demand most of the £13million they spent on him last season.

United are ready to loan as the January window openers and will also provide a buying option at the end of the season. The Italian have made an impressive 39 appearances under van Gaal last season but has lost his place under a new manager this season.

Juventus are reportedly eyeing Darmian as a replacement for aging Stephan Lichtsteiner and Patrick Evra as they are set for January move. The likes of Napoli, AS Roma, and Inter Milan have all shown their interest in signing the full-back earlier this summer.
