British journalist Piers Morgan again took a dig at India. Mariyappan Thangavelu’s made history by bagging the gold medal in the men’s T42 high jump on the second day of the Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. And Piers Morgan could not stop himself and after congratulating Thangavelu, he said that the Indian athlete must have read his ‘motivational tweets’.
Congrats Mariyappan Thangavelu on winning #Paralympics Gold for India.
Clearly read my motivational tweets. ? pic.twitter.com/zV6qYuIKXx— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) September 10, 2016
It all started when Piers Morgan posted a humiliating tweet about India’s performance at the Rio Olympics. Former Indian batsman Virender Sehwag retaliated in style. But the war of words did not stop there and Morgan waged 1 million dollars on England winning the World Cup before India wins another gold at the Olympics.
And now the swashbuckling opener has given a fitting reply to this tweet:
Dear @PiersMorgan,
Here's Our #Gold,Where's Ur W-Cup?Time To Donate Your 1 Million To Charity & Our Kohinoor To Us. pic.twitter.com/YlUVh7SR9l
