Chelsea to break Pogba's world record with a bid for this European star! 1

Antonio Conte, the new Chelsea boss has done some decent business in the recent transfer window.

He has brought in big money signings in the form of David Luiz, Michy Batshuayi and N’ Golo Kante to the club in the summer but there is an impending feeling at the Stamford Bridge that Conte is not happy with his squad at the club this season.

He is already plotting moves for top transfer targets at the end of the season and has got his eyes on some of the best talents in Europe at the moment.

One such player who is now extensively linked with a move to the Bridge is Atletico Madrid superstar Antoine Griezmann.

The Ballon d’Or nominee this year alongside Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo has slowly grown on to become one of the best goal scorers in Europe.

He was superb in the EURO16 in his hometown and was also influential in Atletico’s run into the final of the Champions League last season.

He has recently revealed that he is happy at the Vicente Calderon but said that he will think about leaving the club if manager Diego Simeone also quits the club.

This has seen a number of clubs on high alert for a move next summer and it is now understood that Antonio Conte is readying a world record bid for the 25-year old.

It is revealed by the Express that Griezmann has a £86m buyout clause in his contract and that Chelsea are ready to not only meet it but also improve on it.

It is understood that Chelsea are readying a bid that will eclipse Paul Pogba’s world record £89m move to United.

Chelsea will have to take drastic measures to get their man and may be even more as Atletico Madrid were recently slapped with a ban on incoming transfers for two transfer windows.

The ban will make it hard for Chelsea to lure the 25-year old out but if Simeone is also leaving the club, Chelsea are in pole position to sign their player.

However, it is to be seen if Atletico are ready to let go of their star player.

Do you think Chelsea can get their man next summer?
