Klopp to reward in form Liverpool player with new contract after great start to the new season 1

The Champions of England experienced the full wrath of the new and noisy Anfield as Jurgen Klopp’s men put 4 past Claudio Ranieri’s side on Saturday.

The hosts were in command before an error at the back gave Leicester a sniff but the clinical performance of the team as a whole saw them get over the line quite comfortably.

One player who was influential throughout the game is England international Adam Lallana.

The 26-year old former Southampton skipper was full of energy all night long as he made a number of interceptions in dangerous areas and controlled the midfield area to perfection.

He also found the back of the net, for the second time already this season and I showing signs of picking up form that he promised since his move to Anfield a few years ago.

His splendid start to the season is now being rewarded by the Anfield outfit as reports today reveal that the 26-year old will be awarded a new contract with the club.

Lallana moved to Liverpool back in 2014 for a fee of £25m but was not able to express himself under Brendan Rodgers or Jurgen Klopp last season.

He scored just 4 league goals last campaign but showed signs of improvement as the season progressed.

He scored the winner for his national side in the recent international break to add to his two goals for the club and will now be looking to influence the game more and more with every game.

He is currently contracted with the club till 2019 but Jurgen Klopp seems reluctant to take any chance on his future and wants to tie him down for the long term.

It is understood that the Anfield outfit will start negotiations with the player’s representatives and are likely to strike a deal before the end of the year.

Lallana has become an integral part of Klopp’s squad at the end of the last season and has started in a slightly deeper role for the club this season. He is playing a more central role in the midfield where he can influence the game with authority.

He is full of energy and is the player that initiates the ‘press’ for the Reds in the midfield and his technique and skill on the ball have already helped Liverpool in some big games.

He is a player who is getting to his best and if Klopp can keep him in form and fit, he might play a big role in the club reaching its goals come the end of the season.

He is settled at the club and will be happy to sign an extension and this will come as good news for Liverpool fans who are slowly getting used to the England international becoming an important player under Klopp.

Do you think Lallana will have his best year yet in the Premier League this season?
