Arsenal have got away with a crucial point against Paris Saint-Germain in their Champions League opener. The Gunners were in a shock as PSG striker Edinson Cavani has opened the scoring in just 42 seconds in the first half.
The Uruguayan had the chance to score a hat-trick considering the amount of chances he missed as the home team managed the solo goal. However, Alexis Sanchez who played most of the game as a central striker has moved back to left wing with Oliver Giroud on. The Chilean has instantly scored with a great strike to the bottom corner.
Olivier Giroud was sent off along with PSG’s Marco Verratti in the extra time as both sides finished the game with ten players each. The Gunners keeper David Ospina has been the star for Arsenal as he was forced to make a number of saves to keep the Gooners in the game.
The point could prove crucial for Arsenal as they can win against PSG at home and has the chance to win the group which could help them avoid the likes of Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Real Madrid in the round of 16.
Here is how twitter reacted to the Gunners’ one point against PSG.

Imagine a mom bearing a child for 9 months with all that pain only to see him/her grow up to be an Arsenal fan. Total waste of sperm.

Start Alexis Sanchez up front alone where he clearly struggles, as two strikers sit watching from the bench

Say what you want about Giroud but we look a far more balanced side with him.

Why do pundits keep saying if Zlatan was playing Arsenal would've been battered? It's like me saying if #AFC had Henry…It has no relevance

In my opinion #Iwobi is already showing better football nous & awareness than Oxlade Chamberlain

There's a strange correlation between Coquelin not playing and Arsenal playing well. Must just be coincidence.
