Newly signed Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi is bearing the wrath of Arsenal fans after his poor display against Paris St-Germain in last night’s Champions League clash.

The defender was signed by Arsenal this summer from Valencia to end Arsenal’s defensive woes but after Arsene Wenger will have his heart into his mouth after watching the game. The £35 million signing, who made his European debut for the Gunners on Tuesday night. He made a mistake in the very first minute and failed to mark PSG striker Edinson Cavani as he gave the hosts a 1-0 lead after just 42 seconds. That was not the end and the Germany international continuously struggled to contain the PSG players. But Mustafi will heave a sigh of relief as Alexis Sanchez’s goal in the second half helped the Gunners to restore parity and walk away with a valuable point.
