India on September 22 is going to play the 500th Test match in history. The first match of the three-match New Zealand series in Kanpur will India’s 500th. BCCI invited all former Indian Test captains for a felicitation ceremony. Since 1932 to 2016 it is 84 years for Indian Test cricket. In those years, we have seen how Indian cricket evolved from being a hopeless team to invincible at home and then occasional overseas victories in last 15 or so years.
