Fans on Tiwtter trolls BCCI for new selction panel 1

Former wicketkeeper MSK Prasad has been appointed as the new chairman of selectors by the Board of Control for Cricket in India’s decision. The decision was taken in the board’s 87th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on Wednesday (September 21).

According to media reports, the former wicketkeeper was selected after the board interviewed more than 90 candidates for positions in the junior, women’s and senior national selection panel over the past 48 hours. The other members in the new selection panel include former cricketers Gagan Khoda, Devang Gandhi, Sarandeep Singh and Jatin Paranjpe.

However, the decision to appoint Prasad as the chairman of the panel has not gone down too well with the fans. Fans took to Twitter to express their disappointment over the decision. Fans questioned the credentials of Prasad who represented India in 17 ODIs and six Test matches.
