Reporter apologizes for Klopp's choice of words after Derby win 1

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool were unstoppable yet again on Tuesday as a strong side managed to put 3 past Derby County in the 3rd round of the League Cup this year.

Goals from Ragnar Klavan, Divock Origi, and Phillipe Coutinho helped the Reds get past their opponents on the night where Loris Karius, the Liverpool shot-stopper, who was making a debut, was hardly tested.

The Liverpool manager was happy with his team’s performance and felt that though it could have been better, it was a job well done.

Talking to the media, Jurgen Klopp went on to praise Klavan for his goal. The likes of Danny Ings and Ovie Ejaria were also mentioned for their decent performances on the night as the Reds kept their winning run this month intact.

The Liverpool manager was all smiles during the post-match press conference and enjoyed his chat with the reporters.

But before the press conference went live, the German was heard swearing on national TV after he was told that the Reds were not on TV on Tuesday.

The likes of Sky Sports and BT Sport, who pick up most matches of the top clubs in the Premier League were not interested in the rights for the 3rd round of the League Cup leaving the fans in the UK with no live broadcast of the match.

This was also the case in most other parts of the world with only Australia having a live broadcast of the game.

Klopp was told about the fact just before the Press Conference and obviously enough, he was amused.

Unaware that the TV cameras were rolling, Klopp said, “They did not show this game on TV? They show every f***ing game in Germany,”.

This choice of words from the Liverpool manager on live TV were met by a Sky Sports reporter who apologized for him.

This is not the first time that the Liverpool manager was heard on live TV swearing.

At the final of the same competition last season, Klopp was heard swearing in an interview after his side lost the final of penalties.

Though none of the fans are really worried about it, it cannot be a recurring trend that is not acceptable on British media.
