Liverpool breaks 121-year-old record after their 5-1 win against Hull City! 1

Liverpool are a team to look forward to this season as they are making a mockery of Premier League teams at will. Jurgen Klopp led men are in serious form as they are looking very hungry for victories week in and week out.

The Reds ran riot at Anfield against Hull City as they won 5-1 against the newcomers in the Premier League and asserted an utter dominance at Anfield.

Goals from Lallana, Mane, Coutinho and two penalties from Milner meant Liverpool cruise home happily after a shaky start to the season. With these five goals, the Reds have now managed nine goals in their first two games at Anfield as they are making it a true fortress for them.

The goals also meant that the Reds have now scored 24 goals in their opening eight competitive fixtures which is their highest goal tally since 1895-96 season.

After eight competitive games in 1895-96, Liverpool, who were managed by William Edward Barclay and John McKenna, scored 34 goals and went on to win the league in the second division.

Liverpool are also the leading goal scorers in the Premier League as they have scored more goals than any other team since Jurgen Klopp took over as a manager at Anfield in October 2015. The Reds have scored 71 goals during this period which no other teams in the English football have managed in the league in the same period.

Definitely, a great stat as Liverpool are looking like a side to beat this season with Jurgen Klopp inspiring the Reds for the Premier League title.
