The start to this new season is arguably the best Liverpool have had in recent years. The Reds have recorded the highest goal tally for a team after eight games in England’s top flight for 121 years. The Merseyside club has scored an astonishing 24 goals across both the Premier League and the League Cup so far with five of the goals coming at Anfield against a Hull City in their massive 5-1 win last weekend. Their attack is seen as one of the most dangerous attacks in the league. As a team, they have hit the ground running and after the shock 2-0 defeat against Burnley, there is absolutely no stopping them.
With 4 wins and a draw from the opening six games, Liverpool are fourth in the table and are tipped to challenge for the title. They have already defeated Arsenal, Leicester City and Chelsea. However, their talismanic manager Jurgen Klopp is still not fully satisfied with the performance and said that his side needs to improve before becoming a serious title contender.

“I don’t like standing here and saying ‘brilliant, brilliant’. It is as good as it should be,” Klopp told Sky Sports.
“We are a good football side, but we have to improve – not only in (defending) set pieces, but in a lot of things. We have done well, but Swansea is the next challenge and it’s a big challenge.
“Everybody feels good and that’s good, it’s better that we are all optimistic, but nothing has happened really.
“Football is a nice and simple game on good days, but on other days you can’t find a solution and that’s what makes it interesting.”
