On day 1 of the second Test match, the history repeated itself as once again, after Kanpur, an Indian opener fell early followed by a rescue act from Cheteshwar Pujara. He along with Rahane tried his level best and stretched the scoreline to a respectable total on day 1.
However, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma disappointed once again failing to score a big total with the bat. Virat Kohli’s failures once again were the highlight of the day as the captain once again failed to live up to expectations which have now raised some questions in fans minds. Team India ended the day with a score of 235/7 at the end of the day.
