Manchester United (1-1) Stoke City: Twitter reactions 1

A late goal from Joe Allen helped Stoke City to snatch a valuable point at Manchester United who were looking to build on their fantastic 4-1 victory over Leicester City last weekend.

After losing three games in a row, United showed a lot of improvement when they dismantled the defending champions. And the Red Devils started the game in same fashion as they completely dominated the first half. However, they failed to find the back of the net as Stoke goalie Lee Grant made a string of brilliant saves.

But the home team was rewarded for their dominating display when substitute Anthony Martial opened the scoring with a curling shot in the 69th minute. With Stoke struggling to put together a good attack, the goal looked enough for United to bag three valuable points. But Joe Allen struck late to rescue an unlikely point for the visitors when he capitalised on a David de Gea fumble to punish United.
