Liverpool showed great mettle that they seemed to lack previously this weekend at the Liberty Stadium as goals from Roberto Firmino and James Milner gave Liverpool all three points after ending the first half with a deficit.
There were a number of standout performers for the Reds but not everything has been rosy for them as the game has left more than a couple of players with injuries leading into the international break.
Former Southampton skipper Adam Lallana hobbled off the Liberty pitch early in the first half against Swansea City and it was later confirmed that he picked up a groin injury.
The 26-year old has hit some superb form in recent games and has become an integral part of Klopp’s squad this season. He has added goals to his game and Klopp revealed that he is hopeful of him returning back to the first team after the international break.

Speaking to the media, Klopp said, Adam felt it, tried it again and it didn’t work. In this moment they have no chance for the national teams. But hopefully, 16 days should be enough to bring them back onto the pitch for the next game.
“Things like this happen – there was no sign of it in the week. The pitch was a little bit wet, of course, so things like this can happen. It’s not too nice but nothing else,” he added.
He was not the only player who picked up an injury in that game with the manager also revealing that star defender Dejan Lovren was also out of contention for a place in the national side for this international break.

It is revealed that the 27-year old defender also picked up a groin injury and it is understood that he was withdrawn from the Croatia squad for the qualifiers with Klopp also hoping that he will back in action after the break.
“Dejan was one of the last moments of the game. [It is a] groin [injury] for both, hopefully not that serious,” Klopp said explaining the extent of Lovren’s injury.
That does not end the list of injuries for Liverpool as Nathaniel Clyne completes a trio of former Southampton stars to pick up injuries this week.
The English defender was normal until the end of the Swansea game but he was later withdrawn from Southgate’s England squad and was replaced by Glenn Johnson.
It is understood that the 25-year old picked up a knee injury after the game and that a couple of issues with his knee that were previously troubling are the cause of frustration this time around.

There is no time frame mentioned for Clyne’s return to the game but of the three, his injury might affect Liverpool’s team the most.
None of these players are on international duty this week and the next and with more than 2 weeks to go for the next game, Liverpool fans will hope that their star players are back in action for the crunch game against Manchester United after the international break.
