Watch: Glenn Maxwell's superman fielding against Western Australia! 1

Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell is known for his power hitting as well as for his extraordinary fielding. He is one of those few players in the world who can influence the game in all the three departments i.e., batting, bowling and fielding as he is the complete package for any side.

The 27-year old has recently been in spectacular form when called upon by the national team selectors to T20 side as he scored an unbelievable 211 runs in just two T20Is against Sri Lanka.

He is one of the best match-winners who can change the game on his own for Australia since the retirement of the legendary Australia team towards the late 2000s. The athletic fielder has once again proved why he is one of the best fielders in the world with an outrageous effort on the boundary line earlier today while playing for Victoria against Western Australia in Matador Cup.

Maxwell, who was fielding on the boundary, has made a brilliant effort to effect the dismissal of Short as the wicket turned crucial for his side as Short was going all guns blazing as he scored 52 runs by the time of the outrageous effort by Maxwell.

The left-handed batsman has decided to increase the rate of scoring in the rain-affected game as the innings was reduced to 28 overs per side. In the 20th over, Short has taken on Holland as he tried to send the bowler over long-on only to see Maxwell not only save the six but he has managed to throw it to the fielder (Quiney) who is running to the boundary from inside the circle.

The 27-year old has made an outstanding effort to effect the dismissal but the sad thing he will not be credited with the catch as it is one of the best outside circle we have seen in the recent years.

Here you can have the look on how Maxwell have managed the impossible fielding effort.
