India dominated England to win their last league match by 69-18 at Ahmedabad just a few minutes ago. It was an outstanding display by the Indian team who outplayed England in all departments and never allowed them a chance into the match.
The toss was won by England and chooses to court. Anup Kumar started the raid and got the point. England Someshwar Kalia got a bonus and got an Indian defender out. Sandeep Narwal got a super raid which gave India 5-2 lead. In the 7th minute, India got the first all out to give the host 14-3 lead. India dominated the proceedings. In the 13th minute India again all out England to take a commanding lead of 24-5. In the 17th minute, India really showed their class and all out England for the third time in the first half. Another all out for England in the 19th minute gave India a comfortable lead of 45-6.
In the second half, India continued to dominate England. After the break the Indian team made five changes as Rahul Chaudhuri, Mohit Chilliar, Surender Nada and Nitin Tomar came to raid. Rahul Chaudhuri and Pardeep Narwal did most of the raiding in the second half. Again in the 8th minute, India gave another all out to England for the fifth time in the match. The England team got some points but India was too strong for England. India won the match by 69-18.
Ajay Thakur and Pardeep Narwal did get most of the points in the match which will do a lot of good leading up to the semi-finals.
They will play the semi-finals match on 21st October. The opponents are yet to be decided.
