Virat Kohli on the verge of breaking Sachin Tendulkar's record in fourth ODI 1

When Virat Kohli steps out for the fourth One day match against New Zealand at Ranchi on Thursday, the star batsmen will be on the verge of breaking 2 major records. Virat Kohli has been in brilliant form in the ODI series so far. His record on this ground is also outstanding. During the fourth ODI Virat Kohli requires 40 runs to complete 7500 One day International runs.

If he does score 40 runs in tomorrow’s ODI , he will be fastest batsmen to reach this milestone. He has taken 167 innings to surpass AB De Villiers record who took 174 innings to achieve this milestone.

During the last One day international at Mohali he equalled the record of Sachin Tendulkar of most hundreds during successful One day chases. Kohli has currently 14 centuries. If he scores a century in tomorrow’s match at Ranchi batting second, he will become first to score most centuries during successful ODI chases.

His form in the year 2016 has been outstanding. In test matches he scored 2 double centuries, he was named the man of the series in ICC World T20 held this year. It will be a great achievement for Virat Kohli to achieve this milestone and go past one of the greatest cricketers in the world. He has been the backbone of India batting line up and would like to continue this form during the fourth ODI. If he does this India will win the ODI series.
