Indian players pay respect to women by wearing jersey with names of their mothers 1

The members of Indian cricket team, today, came up with a new idea of showing their respect to women by wearing t-shirts with the name of their mother printed at the back of their jersey. This was a new initiative started by Star to work on their timeline “Rishta wahi soch Nayi”. They have worked upon this well by putting up this initiative.

It is a great step taken by Indian players towards women empowerment and promoting the interest of women as we  have always been hearing that there is discrimination between men and women in our country but hardly we have hardly seen any step taken by people of India in this line. The members of Indian cricket team have taken a step in this line by wearing the jersey with names of their mothers written over it. It is a big step taken as cricket and cricketers are most followed in India and surely people will learn a big lesson from this. Players need to continue this trend for long  so as to lay an impact on people.

The former Indian legend Sunil Gavaskar rather came up with an idea to organize a special series dedicated to women. We may see board taking this into consideration as well.
