India clinched the 5 match ODI series in style as they won the fifth and the final ODI at Visakhapatnam by 190 runs. India was off to a great start as Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli smashed half-centuries each.
Contributions from Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Ajinkya Rahane, Kedar Jadhav and Axar Patel helped India reach a total of 269. Chasing a decent total New Zealand looked shaky from the beginning when Martin Guptill was cleaned up by Umesh Yadav without getting off the mark. After that, it was all about Amit Mishra. Mishra dominated the Kiwi batsmen as he took 5 wickets which wrapped up new Zealand for a score of 79.
