Fans across the nation were bowled over after watching MS Dhoni’s biopic, ‘M.S. Dhoni – The Untold Story’. While there are absolutely no doubts that the audiences loved the movie but the movie failed to justify its title. The movie traces Dhoni’s rise from the lane of Ranchi to the pinnacle of world cricket. However, the ‘untold story’ still had lots of stories ‘untold’. And one of them was the absence of MS Dhoni’s elder brother Narendra Singh Dhoni from the biopic. Hurt by his omission from the movie,Narendra took to Facebook to express his grief through a series of posts.

There were speculations all around that the Indian star was not on talking terms with his brother and the latest event is only going to strengthen those rumors. When India’s skipper was busy marshaling his troops against New Zealand in the recently concluded series, his brother Narendra was fighting for his life in a hospital in Ranchi. Narendra went under the knife on Thursday and fortunately, the operation was a successful one. Dhoni, who was present in the city two days prior to the day of operation for the fourth ODI, failed to make time from his busy schedule to meet his brother. However, Narendra was not disappointed with it and wished his brother for the series win against the Black Caps.

Narendra was admitted to the hospital for the removal of stones from his gall bladder. The doctors removed three stones from his gallbladder and will be discharged after two days. His parents paid him a visit in the hospital but there is still no trace of his younger brother, who is currently not playing for the Indian team.
