After yet another thumping victory this weekend, Antonio Conte’s Chelsea managed to break into the top-4 of the Premier League, 11 games into the season, going into the international break.
Eden Hazard, Diego Costa, Victor Moses, N Golo Kante and David Luiz have all found top form recently giving Chelsea their 5th consecutive victory at the Stamford Bridge this weekend. They have not conceded a goal in any of these 5 games and are looking one of the strongest outfits in the League at the moment.
The manager will be happy with the team’s performances recently and will but is still a bit displeased with the options he has on the bench this season.
Though lack of European football will give Chelsea a chance to play a strong team every week, the manager is still looking at players to add to his squad in the next couple of transfer windows.
One such player who Conte now wants is Sevilla’s Steven N’Zonzi.

The former Stoke City man has been impressive in the La Liga helping the Sevilla side to some important victories in the previous season.
He started the new season in fine form and has been linked to some of the best clubs in Europe. The La Liga outfit are currently scrambling to extend his contract at the club but it looks like N’Zonzi might be lured out of Sevilla very soon.
Reports recently revealed that Spanish giants Barcelona are happy to pay £26m to lure N’Zonzi to the club in January but it is now understood that Antonio Conte’s Chelsea are seriously monitoring his situation.
It is understood that Antonio Conte wants the 27-year old midfielder to replace Cesc Fabregas who is set to leave Stamford Bridge in January.
The player admitted in a recent interview that a link with Chelsea was flattering but went on to say that he was happy at Sevilla at the moment.
He said, “It’s nice, it’s good [to be linked with Chelsea].

“But I always say that this type of club is interested in other players too,” he added.
It does not come as a surprise as Conte has been looking to add some quality midfielders to the squad and given his experience in the Premier League in the past, N’Zonzi is a good option for the Blues.
However, with the likes of Nemanja Matic and N Golo Kante hogging a place in the first team, it is hard to see what kind of a role the 27-year old will play at the Bridge in years to come.
At 27, the midfielder is entering his prime as a footballer and Conte seems to think that he will improve the squad.
Do you think Steven N’Zonzi is a good addition for Chelsea?
