Zidane and Neymar want this Liverpool magician at their club next season 1

With 6 goals and 6 assists in 14 games in all competitions this season, Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho, is one of the most effective players not just in the League but also in Europe this season.

The Brazilian won the man of the match award for the last three games for Liverpool and is at the top of his game at the moment. He is now among the best attackers in Europe so it does not come as a surprise that a number of top European clubs are ready to move for him next summer.

Liverpool are wary of interests from Barcelona, Real Madrid and PSG and have already revealed that Coutinho has a release clause of £67m and that they are not ready to open talks unless the valuation is met.

There are not many clubs who will meet that price but two clubs that will not budge are the Spanish rivals Real and Barcelona.

Coutinho has strong connections with Barcelona with him reportedly mentioning that it was his dream to play at the Cam Nou. His relationship with Luis Suarez, the Uruguayan striker at the club might be able to lure him to Spain but recent reports suggest that there are other players who want him at the club.

Neymar Jr, Coutinho’s Brazilian team-mates, is one of his closest friends and it is now revealed that the Barcelona man wants the Liverpool attacker to move to Barcelona as soon as possible.

At 24, Coutinho is still a while away from his best and if he can keep up his form, he is sure to become one of the best in the business.

Speaking to a Spanish outfit recently, Neymar said, “Coutinho is a great player, I’d play with him at Barça”

But Barca are not the only team interested in his signature. Their arch rivals Real Madrid have not reportedly joined the race for his signature.

According to recent reports, Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has his eyes on Liverpool’s star and wants to add him to his squad.

The report suggests that Zidane has asked the Real Madrid hierarchy to lure Coutinho to the club and that they are now ready to meet his asking price after the end of the season.

All such reports have Spanish sources with none coming out of England so it will be interesting to see if Klopp and Coutinho are even bothered about these rumors.

Moreover, Liverpool are also reportedly set to offer him a bumper contract which might shoo away any potential suitors. Do you think Coutinho will play for Liverpool in a couple of years?
