The likes of Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid and PSG  are all usually the best set-piece converters but Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are now better then the European giants in this department.

Liverpool are now currently joint top of the set-piece table in Europe scoring 8 set-piece goals out of the 30 in all competitions this season.

AS Monaco, who have scored 8 out of 34 goals and Atlanta who have scored 8 out of 19 goals match Liverpool’s record this season.

Malaga, Juventus, Valencia and Barcelona follow the trio in the next few spots making this Liverpool record all the more impressive.

Arsenal are the only other Premier League outfit in top-15 scoring 5 set piece goals in their 23 this season.

Here is the top 10:

Philippe Coutinho, who started the season with a curling effort to beat Petr Cech on the first matchday has been involved in more goals alongside James Milner this season for Liverpool.

With set-pieces like free-kicks, throw-ins, corners and penalties, Liverpool have surely been on top in every department this season.

There is no hiding that they have also conceded a few goals from set-pieces, but having such a prolific goal scoring record has added another dimension to this Liverpool attack and will surely help them in the long term.

It speaks volumes of Klopp’s ability that Liverpool, who were once struggling with set-pieces at both ends of the field, are now the set-piece Kings of Europe.
