Umar Akmal Trolled Yet Again For Unnecessary Tweet on Cricketers Death 1

As fans of the sport in India, we can never walk away from a chance to take a dig at our nemesis from across the border in Pakistan.

Over the years, Indian cricket fans have found ways to make fun of the players from the Pakistan cricket team and to be fair, the Pakistan cricketers never fail to provide us with a chance to troll them.

Social networking site Twitter has seen a recent trend of cricketers actively taking a dig at each other and the fans of the game have found it quite amusing and have also joined in.

Though it is fun up to a certain extent, Pakistani Cricketer Umar Akmal posted something that is more disrespectful than funny.

In one of the many bizarre tweets from the Pakistan batsman, Akmal replied to an old post from Dav Whatmore and got himself trolled on the site instantly.

Former Australian pacer Max Walker passed away earlier this year in September and was remembered all around the world by the fans of the sport.

Dav Whatmore, former Australian cricketer posted a small ode to the deceased which read, “Very sad to hear the passing of #Tangles . One of the greatest Victorian & Aussie players has left us. Farewell mate,”

Walker, who has played 30 Tests and 15 ODIs for Australia in his time is proudly remembered by the fans but Umar Akmal felt the urge to reply to this tweet.

He could not understand the meaning of the tweet from Whatmore and replied V nice @dfwhatmore 🙂

It was a bizarre reply and though Akmal meant no real harm, it is not something that he should be doing, especially after the amount of criticism he recently got from some of his other tweet and the Twitterati took no time in jumping all over him for his tweet.

Here is a collection of the best tweets that trolled Akmal for his tweet:

It took another Pakistan player Ahmed Shehzad for Akmal to realise his mistake. The Pakistan all-rounder explained the situation to his teammate who came out with an apology.

Umar Akmal deleted his earlier tweet and posted another which read, “Thanks @iamAhmadshahzad for ur concern @dfwhatmore I am so sorry about the tweet that was by mistake,”

Surely, it was too much too late for Akmal, like every other time on Twitter!
