Mahrez
Mahrez might move to Italy

Italian giants AC Milan are eyeing Leicester City’s high-profile midfielder Riyad Mahrez this January transfer window. The Algerian forward has not quite been in the same form that he was in the last season with the English premier league champions. Last season was the best season of Riyad Mahrez’s career when he played some breathtaking football and was instrumental in Leicester City’s title triumph. As a result of playing such eye-catching football Riyad had been wanted by some big European clubs. Leicester City somehow survived the summer transfer window in the bid to keep Mahrez at Leicester but it could be unlikely that Mahrez would stay at Leicester when the transfer window reopens.

Last season he was crowned the PFA player of the year and his talent is far from over. He can still produce the same quality when needed and is thus wanted by Serie A giants AC Milan. AC Milan has had an inconsistent start to their season and are looking to strengthen their attacking options particularly in the wider areas.

Riyad Mahrez recently signed a new deal with the premier league champions and may stay at Leicester as Leicester City are doing well in the Champions League. Mahrez’s form would be crucial for Leicester in the champions league if they are to win the tournament which is now far from over.

On the other hand, Arsenal who were very much interested in Mahrez could be still bidding for the Algerian to add more options to their Attack. Arsenal has had a solid start to the season as they are placed third in the table with 24 points from 11 games. The likes of Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil, Theo Walcott and Alex Iwobi has heavily impressed this season which indicates less chances for Arsenal going all out for Mahrez.
