Hilarious: Cricket Fraternity Gives Its Verdict On 'Sonam Gupta Bewafa Hai' 1

The last few days has seen the catchphrase ‘Sonam Gupta bewafa hai’ (Sonam Gupta is unfaithful) has taken the whole country by storm. It all started when earlier this year, a photograph of an old Rs 10 note surfaced on the social media with the phrase written on it. However, the phrase became an online sensation recently, when the same words surfaced once again on the social media but this time it was written on a Rs 2000 note.

Well, the cricket fraternity could not keep themselves away from it and former Indian cricketer Akash Chopra, who is currently commentating in the India-England Test series, decided to take some of his fellow commentator’s take on the issue. With the whole country still trying to find out whether Sonam Gupta is unfaithful of not, Chopra tried to resolve their query. He took to Twitter to post a video clip that showed him asking the question to Dean Jones, Kiran More, Kapil Dev and VVS Laxman.

He tweeted:“Sonam Gupta Bewafa Nahin Hai…that’s the verdict from the commentary box ??? Three cheers to you, Sonam.”
