Coach Anil Kumble Defends Virat Kohli's Against Ball Tampering Allegation, Says Nothing to Worry 1

India’s head coach Anil Kumble has laid down the speculations of Virat Kohli using the mint to shine the ball in the first Test match against England at Rajkot.

After South African stand-in skipper Faf du Plessis was fined 100% of his match fees for tampering the ball during the Hobart Test, few images emerged in the media reports which showed Virat Kohli using the mint in his mouth to alter the condition of the ball but the former India Test captain has said that he is not going to wind up such air and says that he has nothing to worry for.

“People can allege & write. As far as I am concerned there is nothing to worry about it”

When asked to specifically comment on it, Anil said, “Don’t even want to comment on it as umpire or match referee never came to us to talk about it”.

Earlier, Virat Kohli was alleged to have tampered with the ball during Rajkot Test.
