Arsenal vs Bournemouth: Predicted Lineups 1

Arsenal is set to face Bournemouth in Premier League this weekend as the Gunners’ eye nothing but a win in the crucial game.

Arsenal has seen a dip in form this month as they have not managed a single win in their last three games which saw them drop to fourth position in Premier League and second in the Champions League group. However, Wenger would be keen to overcome traditional November dip with a win against Bournemouth who comes to the game on back of a win as well.

Despite their poor form, Gunners have now managed 18 unbeaten games in a row which started in the final weeks of August. Arsenal would be eager to bag all three points as a win would keep them in title race alongside the likes of Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool.

Here we look at how the Gunners could line up against Bournemouth on Sunday.

Petr Cech is expected to be back in the goal as he has been the No.1 for Wenger in Premier League. Nacho Monreal is set to start for the club after not playing in the Champions League midweek.

While Shkodran Mustafi and Laurent Koscielny are set to set to be paired once again as the duo has made a real difference for the Gunners’ campaign so far. With Hector Bellerin out, Carl Jenkinson will be the starter on the right wing.

Santi Cazorla who is yet to recover from the Achilles injury he suffered a month ago, will miss the fixture which would see Francis Coquelin gets an automatic start considering his technical abilities and physical play. While Granit Xhaka is also set to play in the defensive midfield as he was a late substitute against PSG.

Mesut Ozil will continue to play as No.10 as the German has been deservedly given a rest from international duty earlier this month which keeps him fresh. Theo Walcott who has fully recovered from his injury is set to start as a right winger.

However, Arsene Wenger is expected to put Alexis Sanchez on the bench as the game is a rather low-profile one compared to the games they played so far this season. Oxlade-Chamberlain is expected to start on left wing ahead of Alex Iwobi who looked poor against PSG midweek.

Olivier Giroud who has been in sensational form this season coming as a super sub is expected to be given a start in the game as the Frenchman has looked sharp in the recent weeks post his recovery from a toe injury.
