Michael Clarke has become the only Australian Captain to suffer whitewash in two different Test Series. The first whitewash came against India in the Border-Gavaskar held in 2013, where India annihilated Australia 4-0 and the second against the recently concluded Test Series against Pakistan (2-0) at UAE. The other Australian captains who suffered whitewash are: Ricky Ponting, Bill Lawry, Kim Hughes, Tup Scott, Billy Murdoch and Percy McDonnell.
