Liverpool were back to winning ways this weekend after being frustrated by Southampton in the previous round of the domestic league. Goals from Origi and Milner were enough for the Reds to keep their 2nd place in the points table 13 games into the season and will now turn their attention towards the League Cup.
After beating Tottenham Hotspur in the previous round, Liverpool will face Leeds United at Anfield on Tuesday hoping to enter the semi-final of the competition for the third consecutive season.
