Standing at the fourth place on the points table, 13 games into the new Premier League season, Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal have had a mixed season. They are active in Europe and also battling in the League Cup hoping to find some silverware this season.
Arsene Wenger, the manager at the Emirates, spent big in the January transfer window on the likes of Granit Xhaka, Lucas Perez and Shkodran Mustafi and has helped make the team stronger but with clubs around him adding loads of quality, Wenger is now pondering over some more stars to his already exciting lineup.
And according to recent reports Arsenal are ready to fight it out with Laurent Blanc’s PSG for the signature of Wolfsburg star Julian Draxler.

The German international is one of the most exciting players in the Bundesliga and was evidently unhappy in the summer. He was linked with a move away from the club with Arsenal reportedly making a £50m bid for his services but the German outfit managed to keep him at the club for 6 more months.
But with the January window coming up, Draxler is yet again attracting interests from the Premier League with Blanc and Wenger fighting for him.
The 23-year old has not been able to find any kind of a consistency in front of goal this season and is slowly becoming a liability for the German outfit. He is a top class player who possesses some serious and if Wolfsburg is not where he wants to be, the German outfit will surely try to cash in on him in January.
The January transfer window usually inflates the price which might see Draxler priced close to the £60m but he might be the player that can help the Gunners take the next step.

The likes of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez have taken their time to settle into the club and are now one of the most effective players in the league this season.
Draxler, at his age, has all the making of becoming such a player or even a better one and if he is unable to realise his potential at Wolfsburg it is time for him to move out of the club.
Wenger has the likes of Oxlade-Chamberlain, Olivier Giroud, Chuba Okpom, Alex Iwobi and Lucas Perez already waiting in his armory for a place in the attack and it will be interesting to see where Draxler fits but if Wenger has the ability to lure him to the Emirates, it might be the best piece of business for Wenger since the purchase of Alexis Sanchez from Barcelona a couple of years ago.
Do you think Arsenal can get their hands on Draxler this January?
