The St Marys has produced some of the best players in the Premier League at the moment and Southampton have been losing one player after the other in every transfer window.
The likes of Morgan Schneiderlin, Nathaniel Clyne, Dejan Lovren, Adam Lallana and Sadio Mane have all left the side in the last 3 transfer windows and the next two transfer windows are all set to provide the English outfit with more heartbreak.
Standing in the 10th place in the 13 games into the season, the Saints have made a decent start to their domestic campaign under Claude Puel and are hoping to compete for a place in the European spots come the end of the season.

Portuguese international and EURO16 winner Jose Fonte is high on the wish list at the Old Trafford and Jose Mourinho is all set to reignite interest in the 32-year old in January.

The central defender has been one of the most consistent players in his position for some time now and Mourinho wanted to add him to his squad in the summer transfer window. However, Claude Puel was not ready to let him go and rejected offers from the Red Devils.
But with Eric Bailly and Chris Smalling injured and Mourinho failing to find a settled centerback pairing, Manchester United are all set to make a move for the 31-year old in January. He is currently in a contract that will expire at the end of the next season and it is high time for Southampton to either extend his contract or let him leave in January.
But he is not the only player who might leave the club in months to come.
Dutch international Virgil van Dijk has become a hot property in the January transfer window after the solid start the center back has had to his season at the St Marys.

The 25-year old defender is growing on to become one of the best defenders in the domestic league in England and it is not long before some of the biggest clubs in the country come calling.
Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool, are in search of defensive additions to the squad in the summer and the manager has reportedly identified Van Dijk as the right man to lead the team ahead for the rest of the season.
Reports also suggest that Liverpool want young left-back Sam McQueen who has impressed in the few outings he got this season.
Klopp wants to add the duo to his squad in January or at the end of the season and it is now understood that Southampton have resigned that they will lose the duo soon enough.
Tottenham Hotspur’s Kevin Wimmer is touted as a possible replacement at the back for the Saints but it is to be seen if the South Coast outfit are ready to let go of two star players in January.
