At the age of 17, debutant Afif Hossain marched into the history books by becoming the youngest Bangladeshi bowler to grab a wicket five wicket haul in a Twenty-20 game. Playing for Rajshahi Kings against Chittagong Vikings in Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) on Saturday, the off-spinner achieved this feat which helped his side clinch a six-wicket win over Chittagong Vikings.
The off-spinner starred for his side as he opened his account by picking up Jahurul Islam LBW after he struck for two fours before that ball. Though umpire Nadir Shah gave a wrong decision as the replay showed a thick inside edge onto the pad. In his next over, he deceived the big fish Chris Gayle as the southpaw played the wrong line and missed the ball by a whisker, resulting in a clean bowled.

He further removed Zakir Hasan, who was trapped in the flighted delivery and was caught superbly by Sabbir Rahman running in from long-on – and Saqlain Sajib and Imran Khan to complete his five-wicket haul.
