India Test skipper Virat Kohli’s tweet, in support of his better half Anushka Sharma, is the most retweeted tweet for an Indian in 2016. In the tweet made by Kohli, the flamboyant batting icon ridiculed all individuals who constantly mocked Anushka and cited her as the reason whenever Kohli failed in a game. The tweet was made on March 28, 2016, during the World T20.
Shame on people for trolling @AnushkaSharma non-stop. Have some compassion. She has always only given me positivity pic.twitter.com/OBIMA2EZKu

Kohli posted the following tweet and a small message along with it. “Shame on people for trolling @AnushkaSharma non-stop. Have some compassion. She has always only given me positivity,” Kohli mentioned.
Kohli, post India’s comprehensive victory in the third Test against England at Mohali, was beaming in elation as his side took a 2-0 lead in the series. He lauded his side and put special emphasis towards the pace bowling duo of Umesh Yadav and Mohammad Shami for their efforts.
“Umesh and Shami have rushed their (England) batsmen,” said Kohli. “When you can bounce them out and intimidate them with the ball, it always pleases you as a captain. They can get you a couple of wickets in the middle when the situation is tough. Shami feels the injury has been a blessing in disguise. He’s become more hard-working. He feels stronger. When the bowler is in that sort of a zone, you have to let him be. He’s been a champion for us in the past as well. No worries as such,” Kohli mentioned.
The fourth Test between India and England will be played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai from December 8.
