The final day was defined by an excellent bowling performance by a young Indian side who picked up 10 English wickets in a single day’s play.
England were bowled out for 207 runs as they went on to lose the match by an innings and 75 runs.
Ravindra Jadeja was the star performer of the day who got the better of England on 7 occasions. Riding on Jadeja’s superb performance India clinched the Anthony De Mello trophy 4-0.
Here are the four talking points of the day :

Ravindra Jadeja’s seven wickets : Ravindra Jadeja dismissed English skipper Alastair Cook for the sixth time in the series. Apart from that, he also picked up 6 more wickets taking his tally to 7. The all-rounder was also amazing in the field as he took a magnicifent catch to send Jonny Bairstow back to the pavilion. Jadeja bowled with amazing confidence as picking up seven wickets in a single day is not an easy task. He was the main reason why India could bowl out England on the final day’s play as Ravichandran Ashwin struggled to pick up wickets a home.
