After a disappointing 2014/15 campaign, it’s fair to say that Chelsea winger Eden Hazard has been back to his best this season.
Hazard, 25, was more often than not criticised for his below-par performances as the Blues endured a torrid season.
Now, though, with Antonio Conte at the helm at Stamford Bridge, Hazard has once again been one of the best players in the Premier League.
Indeed, with Chelsea currently sitting at the summit of the division, the Belgium international has chipped in with a number of goals and assists.
Hazard, of course, is currently in action in west London with the Blues hoping to extend their lead at the top of the table.
And it’s fair to say that the technically astute star has been enjoying himself against Bournemouth.
As you can see below, moments after former Barcelona star Pedro handed Conte’s side the lead with a well-taken strike from the edge of the box, Hazard almost scored the goal of the season.
With the ball falling to the Belgian’s feet on the edge of the box, he quite audaciously opted for a rabona shot. Cherries shot-stopper Artur Boruc just about managed to tip the ball over the bar.
With the second period on the horizon, Chelsea fans will be hoping to see more of the same from their star man.
They may well be without the key duo of Diego Costa and N’Golo Kante, but they are once again proving their credentials in front of their supporters.
Anyway, you can see Hazard’s fine effort here:
