Huge News: Manchester United Unwilling To Let Star Leave In January 1

Manchester United is set to reject a loan deal for out-of-favor star player Anthony Martial, according to the reports.

The 21-year old has fallen down the pecking order this season under new manager Jose Mourinho and Spanish outfit Sevilla are keen to land him on a loan deal in January.

However, despite not being a regular starter for the club, Mourinho is not keen to let the youngster leave.

It is believed that the Sevilla’s director of football Monchi have contacted the 21-year old over the potential move as the La Liga team are keen to provide him regular football which he is currently lacking at Old Trafford.

Jose Mourinho has preferred Jese Lingard and Marcus Rashford ahead of Marital since the start of the season and the emergence of Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the wings meant that there will be more competition for places in the front line.

His agent Phillippe Lamboley has also not ruled out the prospect of leaving the club on a loan in January as the Frenchman is keen to move to get more football.

‘Sevilla? We are indeed studying this possibility, we are talking about a large club,’ Philippe Lamboley told Le10sport.

‘Sevilla has a good position in La Liga and has a great coach. But for now, I can not say more.’

Anthony Martial is a key player under former manager Louis van Gaal as he scored 17 goals across all competitions last season and has been their top scorer in 2015/16 season.

However, the signing of Zlatan Ibrahimovic in summer meant that there is only one position for Marcus Rashford and Martial to play and Jose Mourinho has largely given opportunities to 18-year old Rashford than Martial which is making things tough for the French forward at Old Trafford this season.

With Manchester United not keen to sanction a move for Martial, it remains to be seen if there could be more chances for the World’s most expensive teenage signing ever.
