Pakistan's Azhar Ali And Yasir Shah Under Doping Scanner 1
Yasir Shah of Pakistan is again under the scanner of doping.

International Cricket Council (ICC) on Thursday conducted a dope test on Pakistan’s opening batsman Azhar Ali and leg-spinner Yasir Shah, reported by the director media of PCB, Amjad Hussain Bhatti. However, the results of the dope test would be out in two-three weeks time.

Opening batsman Azhar Ali was in headlines earlier this week for registering his maiden double hundred in the Melbourne Test against Australia, while Yasir Shah has been facing criticism for being over defensive in his approach by Australian bowling legend Shane Warne.

Azhar is having a decent tour as he notched up a fifty plus score in the first Test too. However, Yasir isn’t pleasing anyone on the other hand with his run-of-form, as he is missing his mirage touch to topple the Aussies.

Well, this isn’t the first time that the leg-spinner has been targeted. In November 2015, Yasir was banned from bowling in International cricket by ICC for three months, after he tested positive for a banned drug named Chlortalidone.

He later claimed to have taken his wife’s blood pressure medicines than that of him and assured ICC through reports that he had no intention to intake any such drug, in order to enhance his performance in Cricket.

Barring him from taking part in cricket, he missed out the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Asia Cup and World T20 in India.

Pakistan, who lost the first Test match against Australia at Brisbane is now playing the Boxing Day Test at Melbourne.
