The Match Schedules of the Carlton-Mid ODI Series 2015, that is supposed to take place between Australia, India and England from January 16th, 2015, have been reshuffled.
Earlier, the first match of the tri-series was scheduled to take place between Australia and India at Melbourne on January 16th, before Australia played England at Sydney on January 18th. However, these two matches have now swapped places in the schedule, with Australia and England to begin the tri-series at Sydney on January 16th, followed by Australia and India clash at Melbourne on January 18th.
In a press release, Cricket Australia said that the change had been done “to provide the Indian players with appropriate recovery time after the tour match which follows the Sydney Test”. India will play a one-day tour game with date and venue yet to be confirmed, instead of the warm-up game they were scheduled to play against England at Drummoyne Oval in Sydney on January 12.
England’s lead-in to the tri-series will now involve a game against an ACT XI at Manuka Oval on January 12, followed by the Prime Minister’s XI match, which remains unchanged on January 14.
