The draws for the 2014-15 UEFA Champions League Round of 16 took place in Nyon, Switzerland few minutes back and the matches for the Round of 16 have been finalised. Four time winners FC Barcelona face English Champions Manchester City and Chelsea facing Paris Saint Germain will be the matches to watch out for in the Round of 16.

There were certain rules in determing the matches. Here are the rules that has been followed by UEFA during this event:
The teams from the same country cannot be pitted against each other in the round of 16. Even the teams from the same group in the gropu stages cannot be drawn against together. For example, Chelsea cannot be drawn against Arsenal, Manchester City or Schalke 04. Starting in the quarterfinals, draw restrictions are removed and any team can be drawn against any other team.
A seeded team (teams that won the group) will face an unseeded team (team that came second in their group) in the Round of 16. Here are the seedings:
