India vs England 2016/17, 3rd ODI: Virender Sehwag Correctly Predicts India's First Wicket-Taker At Eden Gardens 1

Virender Sehwag is fast carving a space among the cricket fans with his entertaining commentary. Not the one to mince his words, the former India batsman has been a huge hit with the mic. Whether he is trolling players, praising them in his unique style or taking a dig at match officials, the batting legend has been an absolute revelation in the commentary box.

Well, the latest incident is another indication that why is he loved so much by the Indian cricket fans. During the ongoing third ODI match between England and India at Eden Gardens, when the bowlers were struggling to break the opening partnership between Jason Roy and Sam Billings, Sehwag boldly predicted in the 12th over that Ravichandran Ashwin or Ravindra Jadeja would break the partnership.

His prediction looked a bit absurd at that point of time because neither of the bowlers were operating at that moment. Virat Kohli had introduced Jasprit Bumrah as the first change before handing the ball to Yuvraj Singh in a desperate attempt to get a breakthrough. But what happened a few overs later clearly showed why Sehwag was such a successful cricketer. Ravindra Jadeja was introduced by captain Kohli in the 17th over and the left-arm spinner gave the hosts much-needed breakthrough by castling the dangerous Jason Roy on the third ball of his over.
