India vs England Combined ODI Eleven 1
Virat Kohli would eye to put his hands on the T20I trophy too against England.

The ODI series between India and England ended past Sunday (January 22nd), with the visitors registering the consolation win at Eden Gardens by five runs. Wins in Pune and Cuttack saw Virat Kohli sealing his first ODI series as a full-time captain after he led India to a 4-0 victory over England in the Tests.

The limited-over series, however, had a history of its own to tell. In the three matches, which was largely dominated by batsmen, more than 2000 runs (2027) were scored. The tally is also the most recorded in a three-match bilateral tie in ODI’s ever, surpassing the previous record of around 1800 being scored in the Afro-Asia cup in 2006.

There were many positives and few lessons to be learnt for players, bowlers specifically. From Virat Kohli to Ben Stokes, from Kedar Jadhav to Jason Roy, few of the individuals stood apart.

So, at Sportzwiki, we shed light on the best of the performers in the series and bring you the combined eleven from both India and England.
