Batting legend Sachin Tendulkar is the huge fan of Tennis and above all Tennis great Roger Federer, who beat Spanish Rafael Nadal 6-4, 3-6, 6-1, 3-6, 6-3 at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne to clinch the 18th Grand Slam overall during his illustrious career.
The 35-year-old Federer also became the first ever player to clinch the five trophies in three different Grand Slams.
In the recent past, Tendulkar was seen watching Federer’s Wimbledon matches in the Royal Box which showed his love for the game and Swiss master.
Tendulkar took to micro-blogging website Twitter to congratulate Tennis icon Federer for achieving the feat.
Federer had also spoken about Little Master Tendulkar in the past while saying he has been the best among a lot.
“Sachin [Tendulkar] is the Indian sport person I admire the most. I met him when he visited Wimbledon. He was a lot of fun to talk to – and he is a legend,” Federder said in the past on Tendulkar.
