Indian batsman Rohit Sharma has got back to training after showing signs of complete recovery from a long injury lay-off. The Mumbai batsman remains important for the Men In Blue across all three formats.
After suffering a thigh injury in an ODI against New Zealand last year, the elegant batsman had to undergo a surgery which saw him miss the entire England series.
Clearly not rushing his comeback, Rohit Sharma is eyeing a smooth recovery and is expecting to join the Indian squad during the four-match Test series against Australia that will begin later this month.
In a tweet, Rohit Sharma wrote: “I feel complete again” which will come as a great news for Indian fans.

The presence of Rohit Sharma is very important especially in the ODI format as the openers failed miserably in the recently concluded England series. Rohit will bring the much-needed quality at the top as the middle-order comprising of Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Kedar Jadhav has looked reliable.
In an interview to India Today, Rohit revealed he is keen to get back to the cricket pitch very soon.
“I am really trying my best to get back on the cricket pitch as soon as possible. I can’t give an exact date but I will try to play the series against Australia. I have been in a very positive frame of mind during this phase though. Injuries are part and parcel of the game, you can’t avoid them for long. Also, this wasn’t the first time that I was facing such challenging times,” quoted Rohit Sharma.
