Video - Mushfiqur Rahim Leads Hilarious Caught-Behind Appeal Against Cheteshwar Pujara 1

Bangladesh skipper Mushfiqur Rahim and some of his teammates’ blushes were spared after they decided to not take a bizarre review against a caught-behind appeal of Cheteshwar Pujara in the ongoing Test against India at Hyderabad.

The visitors had started the proceedings in the best-possible way as Taskin had castled KL Rahul on the very fourth ball of the day for only two. In search of another wicket, the Bangladeshi players were almost set to take a bizarre review before dropping the idea.

The incident happened in the third over of the day when Taskin Ahmed was bowling to Cheteshwar Pujara.

Pujara was yet to open his account and Taskin tried to unsettle him with a short delivery around his ribs. However, the seasoned campaigner let the ball, which was miles down the leg side, go straight to the wicketkeeper. Rahim did a brilliant job to catch the ball with a before the hilarious drama unfolded. Leaving everyone surprised, the Bangladeshi fielders went up in unison to appeal for a catch only to see the umpire give his verdict in the favour of batsman. But the drama did not end there as Bangladesh skipper Mushfiqur Rahim was seen making up his mind to take a review before senior player Shakib Al Hasan intervened to stop his captain from making such a huge blunder.
