Watch: Tamim Iqbal's Run-Out After Awful Mix-Up With Mominul Haque 1

Bangladesh’s historic one-off Test against India is getting worse with every passing moment. Mushifqur Rahim’s men have endured a torrid time in the match so far with nothing much going in their favour right from the word go. Starting from missed chances to the failure of using the DRS correctly, the visitors have shown why they are placed ninth in the world. On the other hand, the case has been exactly opposite with the hosts. Right from Day 1, Virat Kohli’s men have grabbed every chance that have come their way and the story hasn’t changed on the Day 3 too.

The world number one team needed a strong start to strengthen their grip on the match and they got it very early when senior Bangladesh batsman Tamim Iqbal fell prey to a poor misunderstanding with his partner Mominul Haque. The incident happened in the third over of the day when Mominul tucked a Bhuvneshwar Kumar delivery to deep backward square and the batsmen tried to take a non-existent double. However, an awful mix-up between both batsmen saw the visitors gifting an easy wicket to the hosts. Both looked hesitant in taking the second run and Umesh Yadav made no mistake in throwing the ball straight to Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who made no mistake in dislodging the balls to catch Tamim short of the crease.

Here is a clip of that run-out:
