Sachin Tendulkar Gives Heart-Touching Message To Virat Kohli After His Double Century Against Bangladesh 1

Batting legend Sachin Tendulkar has lavished praise on Virat Kohli after Indian skipper’s double century against Bangladesh in the ongoing Test in Hyderabad.

The 28-year-old came up with another sublime knock in the white jersey as he scored another double century to take his career tally to four double centuries. In the process, Kohli became the first batsman to score double centuries in four consecutive series. Kohli, whose 246-ball knock was laced with 24 boundaries, surpassed legends Donald Bradman and Rahul Dravid, who had scored double tons in three consecutive series. The 28-year-old also joined an elite list which comprises Bradman, Michael Clarke, Graeme Smith. All these captains have scored four double hundreds in Test cricket.

The India Test captain has been winning praise from all over the world for his extraordinary exploits with the bat and Sachin Tendulkar has become the latest entrant in his long list of admirers.

Congratulating his former teammate, the master blaster tweeted: “The sweet spot on your bat speaks about the awesome form you are in, don’t need scoreboards. May god always keep your bat like that.”

Meanwhile, former India opener Virender Sehwag, whose long-standing record of most Test runs scored by a batsman in a single home season was broken by Kohli during his brilliant knock in Hyderabad, also congratulated the Indian batting star.
