Ever since taking charge of the team, the flamboyant Virat Kohli has managed to cut down on his aggressive nature but sometimes even the best in the business can lose their temper in the heat of the moment.
The incident happened early on the fourth day of the ongoing Test between India and Bangladesh in Hyderabad. After scoring 687 runs in the first innings, the hosts looked destined to make light work of their opposition after reducing them to 235 for 6. However, Bangladesh captain Mushfiqur Rahim waged a lone battle to keep his team in the contention.
The hosts were desperately trying to end his gritty knock and finally looked to have ended his innings when a pull shot from the batsman went straight to the wicketkeeper. The Indian fielder went up in unison only to see the umpire give his verdict in the favour of batsman. At first, it looked like the ball had made contact with the gloves and Kohli wasted little time in reviewing the decision. But soon Rahim appeared to gesture that the ball had touched the arm guard. The gesture frustrated the India skipper and his misery was further compounded when the decision went in favour of his Bangladesh counterpart.
