Italian champions Juventus are eyeing a sensational double swoop for Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez and PSG star midfielder Marco Verratti in the summer, according to reports in Italy.
AC Milan are reportedly interested to make a big money move for Sanchez in the summer as the Chilean’s contract is set to expire in the summer of 2018. However, champions Juventus are confident of luring the 28-year old to Turin ahead of their rivals.
Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport claim Alexis Sanchez is one of the two major signings that the Old Lady are planning this summer as they look to increase their quality to enhance their chances of winning Champions League.
Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri is a huge admirer of Arsenal star and is keen to take Sanchez back to Serie A as the Chilean have been disappointed with the string of results and Arsenal could even drop out of the top four this season as they are one of the teams with low confidence with their recent performances.
Arsenal will have to tie down Sanchez to a new contract which is looking beyond possibility as months of negotiations with both Ozil and Sanchez yielded nothing as they continue the talks.
However, Juventus are not just concentrating on Sanchez alone as the record champions are also ready to land PSG star midfielder Marco Verratti who has become one of the best holding midfielders in Europe.
The Italian international have drawn interest from a host of clubs across Europe including the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Bayern Munich in the past. A move back to country would be good for the young midfielder and Juventus are eyeing to make a potential deal for Verratti who could improve their midfield tremendously.
The increasing financial might of Juventus will help them land Verratti as the club are confident of meeting his huge wage demands that PSG are currently paying him.
