The Premier League saw record amounts of money spent on star players in the summer transfer window before the start of the current season. Clubs around the country spent big for top transfer targets, to improve their squads ahead of the current season.

However, with players of high quality hardly available, there were a number of club who were involved in a race to sign a single player before the deadline day.

This summer will not be any different as clubs from the top end of the points table in the Premier League are already plotting moves for some star players, with more than one club linked to a number of quality players.

One such player wanted by a host of Premier League clubs at the end of the current season is Brazil international Fabinho.

The 23-year old Sao Paulo-born star started his career at Paulinia, before getting a call up from Real Madrid in 2013. He only spent half a year on loan at the Bernabeu before he was sent out on loan again to French outfit AS Monaco.

He put in some decent performances in League 1 in France and earned himself a permanent place in the Monaco side and has made more than 100 appearances for the side in this time.

A right-back by trait, Fabinho is also capable of playing as a defensive midfielder and his profile is attracting interests from all around Europe.

Spanish giants Barcelona along with English clubs Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City are all interested in his signature and are set to fight it out for him in the summer.

But according to Joao Maria, the father of the 23-year old, Fabinho has already been in contact with the Premier League trio recently.

Speaking to the French TV shot J+1, the father of the player revealed that all 4 aforementioned clubs were in contact with the player.

“We have been in talks with Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal and approached by Barcelona,” he said.

It does not come as a surprise that the best teams in the business are ready to fight for him but Joao went on to reveal which two club interest them the most.

Joao added: “We like Manchester United and [Jose] Mourinho’s work, but we have a soft spot for Manchester City.”

This will come as a huge boost for both Manchester clubs who are desperate for his signature.

However, Fabinho signed a 5-year contract in September last year and is expected to cost a fortune for a move in the summer.
